Question: I’ve installed an additional dictionary, but my site contains a mix of both English and another language. How can I check it with both dictionaries?
Answer: InSite is only able to spell check one language at a time. In general, multi-lingual sites do not mix languages on the same individual pages. Typically the website is divided into two or more language specific sub-sites. We recommend creating a project for each language, with the appropriate Root URL.
For example, a website may have the following URL structure for English, French and German:
In this case you would configure 3 separate projects in InSite, one for each language, using the appropriate Root URL. By default InSite will only crawl from the Root URL and deeper into the site, so it will not cross from one language specific section to another.
