How can I move my projects/custom dictionary to another PC?

Question: How can I move my project files and/or custom dictionary to another PC?

Answer: All of InSite’s project files and the custom dictionary are stored in:

Windows 2000/Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Inspyder InSite\

Windows Vista/Windows 7/ Windows 10:
C:\Users\[username]\appdata\roaming\Inspyder InSite\

(Remember to replace [username] with your actual Windows username.)

To move the files:

1. Exit InSite on both PCs.
2. Copy the contents of the settings directory (given above) to the same location on the new PC. Remember to change the ‘username’ portion of the path if your username is different on the second PC.
3. Run InSite on the second PC, your projects and dictionary should appear.
