When I try to FTP upload my sitemap, I get the error “Input string was not in a correct format.”

Question: I’ve configured Sitemap Creator to upload my sitemap to my website. However when the FTP process starts I see the error message “Input string was not in a correct format.” in the log. How can I fix this?

Answer: This error message is caused by the 3rd party FTP component used in Sitemap Creator. This problem is exceptionally rare and is usually solved by rebooting the PC that Sitemap Creator is installed on. Generally this problem does not occur again.
